Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun is the tomb of Spencer Penrose, who created many of the landmarks in Colorado Springs, including the neighboring Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Another reason to visit this monument though is for the amazing view of the Rampart Range to the west and Colorado Springs.
