Can I purchase an America the Beautiful Pass at a National Park?
Yes. National Parks with staffed entrances sell passes on-site. For National Forests and other federal recreation areas, passes may be available at Forest Ranger Stations and select local retailers. Buying your pass online in advance can save valuable time — you’ll be ready for your next adventure right away, and at busy National Parks, you can use the express lane for pass holders.
Can I use my America the Beautiful Pass immediately after purchase?
No. Physical passes will be shipped to you and must be with you for entrance to federal lands. Email confirmations are not valid for access. A digital version can be used immediately upon purchase, is only available on recreation.gov, however, as many parks have limited or no cell service, and some are not staffed, bringing the physical pass is still the most dependable option. You can connect a physical pass purchased with myscenicdrives.com to a free digital version through a recreation.gov account.
Can I download and print National Forest Passes?
No. Forest passes cannot be downloaded or printed, and the purchase receipt isn’t valid for entry. Passes are shipped by mail.
Do National Parks require a reservation?
Some National Parks — including Acadia, Arches, Glacier, Haleakalā, Rocky Mountain, Yosemite, and Zion — may require advance reservations, even if you already have an America the Beautiful Pass. Please check each park’s official website for the latest reservation requirements, as these can change from year to year.
Do I need reservations even if I have a America the Beautiful Pass?
Yes. Parks that require reservations will still require them even if you are a pass holder. Please check the website for each park you will be visiting.
Will my name appear on the America the Beautiful Pass?
No. Your name will not appear on any pass purchased through our store. Simply sign the back of the pass, and be prepared to show photo ID upon entry at staffed sites.
Can I purchase the America the Beautiful Pass for someone else?
Yes. Passes can be ordered as a gift or for another individual. No name is associated with the pass when we ship. The recipient simply signs the back when they receive it. We’re also happy to include a complimentary greeting card with your personalized message.
Can I purchase National Forest Passes for someone else?
Yes. Passes can be ordered as a gift or for another individual. We can ship to you or directly to the recipient. We’re also happy to include a complimentary greeting card with your personalized message.
How do I show my America the Beautiful Pass at a site that doesn’t have an entrance station?
If your destination does not have an entrance gate, place the pass in the hangtag and hang it from your rearview mirror, or set it on your dashboard. The pass should always be displayed with the month side (back) facing outward.
If you don’t have a hangtag, ask for one free at any staffed entrance on your next visit.
Where is the email confirmation of my pass order?
If you don’t see your confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder. If you create a free account on myscenicdrives.com using the same email you used at checkout, you can log in and view your order details online. You’ll receive three email confirmations for your order: one upon purchase, one with tracking details when shipped, and one upon delivery.
If you suspect there was a typo in your email address, please email us at info@myscenicdrives.com so we can update your information. If you still can’t locate your confirmation, please contact us.
Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, and Apple Pay. All payments are processed over a secure connection, and your credit card details are not stored in our systems.
Do you offer any other payment methods? Do you accept Apple Pay?
At this time, we accept major credit cards and Apple Pay. Our online checkout is fully encrypted, safe, and secure from start to finish.
Do you charge sales tax?
We collect sales tax where required by law. Any applicable tax will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
My credit card was declined. What should I do?
First, confirm that your billing address and card number exactly match what your card issuer has on file. If everything appears correct, please contact your card-issuing bank for more details, or contact us for additional assistance.
Do you offer International Shipping?
Yes. We offer FedEx International Priority with competitive rates, and passes typically arrive within 2–5 days. Final shipping options and pricing will be shown during checkout based on your destination.
When will my order ship?
Orders placed by 2 pm PST on weekdays usually ship the same day (excluding Sundays and holidays). On Saturdays, USPS and FedEx orders must be placed by 9 am PST to ship that day; orders placed later will ship on the next shipping day.
Which holidays will affect my shipments?
Both USPS and FedEx observe similar holiday schedules, which may delay shipping or delivery. During checkout, we’ll highlight any upcoming holidays so you can plan your order accordingly.
How long does it take to receive my pass? What shipping methods do you offer?
We offer several shipping options with approximate delivery times within the United States::
- USPS First Class Mail • 2-9 days
- FedEx • Estimated transit times and arrival windows are provided at checkout

I did not receive my order shipped via USPS. What should I do?
If your order has not arrived, please contact us by email as soon as possible so we can work with USPS to try to locate it. If the package cannot be found and was not marked as delivered, we will replace your pass. Note, we cannot assist or replace passes more than 30 days after the original order date.
If tracking shows the package as delivered but you did not receive it, please contact your local mail carrier or post office with your tracking number. First Class Mail orders arrive in a 7 x 9 inch white flat cardboard mailer, which may help you or your carrier identify it. If it is not located, we can coordinate with USPS on your behalf. If USPS confirms correct delivery after an investigation, we cannot refund or replace the pass.
I did not receive my order shipped via FedEx. What should I do?
If your order has not arrived, please contact us by email as soon as possible so we can work with FedEx to try to locate it. If the package cannot be found and was not marked as delivered, we will replace your pass. Note, we cannot assist or replace passes more than 30 days after the original order date.
If tracking shows the package as delivered but you did not receive it, please contact us as soon as possible. FedEx orders arrive in a 9 x 12 inch FedEx branded mailer. We can coordinate with FedEx on your behalf, but if FedEx confirms delivery after an investigation, we cannot refund or replace the pass.
How much are shipping costs?
Shipping and handling fees are based on package weight and the shipping service you select. Your total shipping and handling cost will be clearly displayed before you enter payment information.
I have an error in my address; how do I fix it?
If your order has not yet shipped, please contact us by e-mail as soon as possible, and we’ll update your address for you.
If the order has already shipped, we can request an address update with USPS or FedEx. Please note that these carriers charge additional fees for this service. If a package is returned to our office, we are happy to resend it to the corrected address, but a new shipping and handling fee will apply.
Can I combine or change my orders?
Yes. For unshipped orders, simply email us at e-mail us and we can combine shipments or update items before they go out.
Do you have passes for...?
Currently, we offer passes for the following regions:
- Red Rock Pass (Coconino National Forest) — Arizona
- Tonto National Forest< — Arizona/li>
- Southern California National Forests — California
- Northwest National Forests — Oregon and Washington
- White Mountain National Forests — New Hampshire
We also offer the America the Beautiful National Parks Pass, which provides entrance to over 2,000 federal recreation sites managed by the USDA Forest Service, National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, and Bureau of Reclamation.
All of the areas listed above are covered by the America the Beautiful National Parks Pass, except Tonto National Forest, which requires its own passes. We offer Tonto Daily Passes and Watercraft Stickers.
Do I need an account?
No. You can check out as a guest and do not need an account to place an order. Creating a free account can save time for future purchases and makes it easy to track and review your orders online. With an account, you can also access our free road trip planner to map out your adventures.
Can I send an order as a gift?
Yes. Passes make a great gift for outdoor lovers, hikers, families, national park enthusiasts, and employee recognition. If you’re shipping directly to the recipient, we can include a personalized message at no charge, just fill out the gift section during checkout or email us with your message.
No name is associated with the pass when we ship. The recipient simply signs the back when they receive it.
Do I need to fill out the gift section?
No. The gift section is optional, and you can leave it blank if you don’t need a gift message.
Can I get an invoice? How do I print a receipt?
You can simply print a copy of your email confirmation. If you have a free account using the same email address used for your order, you can also visit your orders page to view and print an invoice.
What is your return or refund policy?
If you’re not completely satisfied, please contact us so we can work with you to resolve any issues. Our full official refund policy is available.
I purchased a pass before. How can I reorder the same one?
If you have an account (or create one) with the same email address used on your previous order, you can view your order history under your profile. Open the relevant order and click “Reorder These Items” at the bottom of the page to quickly add the same products to your cart. We do not store your payment information, so you will need to enter it again for each new order.
How do I display my pass in an open top vehicle, jeep, or motorcycle?
For the Southern California National Forest Adventure Annual Pass, the entire pass is a sticker, which you can affix directly to your vehicle; you can also purchase a Second Vehicle Pass for $5 if you need one for another vehicle.
For the America the Beautiful Resident Annual Pass, a decal is available at no extra charge. Visit any National Park or National Forest Ranger Station with your pass, driver’s license, and vehicle registration; the names must match, and the decal will be marked with the same expiration date as your pass.
I lost my America the Beautiful or National Forest pass. What can I do?
Unfortunately, America the Beautiful and National Forest passes cannot be replaced if they are lost or stolen. A new pass will need to be purchased. Passes can be ordered online here.
How do I get a Senior America the Beautiful National Parks Pass?
The America the Beautiful Senior Pass (Annual or Lifetime, for those 62 and older) is not available through myscenicdrives.com. Senior passes can be purchased in person at many National Parks or online through the USGS store. For details, visit here.
I have a disability; do I qualify for a discount?
Yes. A free lifetime America the Beautiful Access Pass is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a permanent disability. This pass is not available via myscenicdrives.com. Yes, the America the Beautiful Interagency Pass is accepted at locations where a Southern California Adventure Pass is required.
Can I use the America the Beautiful Resident Annual Pass instead of a Red Rock Pass?
Yes, the America the Beautiful Interagency Pass is valid at sites that require an Red Rock Pass.
Can I use the America the Beautiful Resident Annual Pass instead of a Northwest Forest Pass?
Yes, the America the Beautiful Interagency Pass is accepted at locations that require a Northwest Forest Pass.
Can I use the America the Beautiful Resident Annual Pass instead of a White Mountain National Forest Pass?
Yes, the America the Beautiful Interagency Pass is valid at sites that require a White Mountain National Forest Pass.
Can I use the America the Beautiful Resident Annual Pass at State Parks, or for a Discovery Pass?
No. The America the Beautiful Interagency Pass is not valid at State Parks. Each state offers its own pass for access to that state’s parks and recreation sites.
How does the America the Beautiful Resident Annual Pass work for Motorcycles?
The America the Beautiful National Park Pass permits entry for two motorcycles. Once you have your pass, you can visit any National Park or National Forest Ranger Station with your pass and motorcycle registration to request a decal if needed.
How does the America the Beautiful Resident Annual Pass work for Bicycles?
For cyclists, the America the Beautiful Resident Annual Pass covers the pass owner plus three additional bicyclists arriving together (four people total). Policies can vary by site, so please check your destination’s specific rules on how the pass is honored for bicycle entry.
What is new for the 2026 America the Beautiful Pass?
The 2026 America the Beautiful Pass has a few changes that you should be aware of.
For U.S. Residents
The America the Beautiful Pass remains $80 for U.S. residents.
It is now available in both physical and digital formats, and you can get both versions for the same $80.
myscenicdrives.com will continue to offer physical passes only.
Physical passes can be linked to a free digital version via your Recreation.gov account. Having both formats makes exploring easier as many parks and trailheads have limited or no cell coverage, and some sites are unstaffed. A physical pass remains the most reliable option.
Be prepared by visiting sites with either your physical pass or a printed PDF version of your digital pass. As always, visitors must show ID when requested.
Have a physical pass already and want a digital version? You can obtain one on Recreation.gov. Simply create an account and link your existing physical pass to generate the digital version.
Currently, only the Annual America the Beautiful Pass is offered digitally. Beginning January 2026, the following passes will also be available in digital form:
- Military Pass for current US military and dependents — Free
- Military Lifetime Pass for Gold Star Family members and veterans — Free
- 4th Grade Pass for US 4th graders — Free
- Access Pass for US citizens and permanent residents with permanent disability — Free
- Senior Lifetime Pass for US citizens and permanent residents ages 62 and older — $80
- Senior Annual Pass for US citizens and permanent residents ages 62 and older — $20
For Non-U.S. Residents
myscenicdrives.com will be adding Non-Resident Passes to our offerings in 2026.
Starting January 1, 2026, the Annual Pass for Non-Residents will cost $250.
Non-Residents without an annual pass will pay an additional $100 per person to enter 11 of the most visited national parks, on top of standard entrance fees. These parks include:
- Acadia
- Bryce Canyon
- Everglades
- Glacier
- Grand Canyon
- Grand Teton
- Rocky Mountain
- Sequoia and Kings Canyon
- Yellowstone
- Yosemite
- Zion
