At Sugarloaf Cove Visitor Center participate in fascinating educational programs, from bird banding demos to geology walks. Take a self-guided 1-mile interpretive hiking trail which examines the geology of rocks more than 1 billion years old. The Sugarloaf Point Scientific and Natural Area is inhabited by watchable wildlife and an Audubon Important Bird Area. In winter, enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
