Beaver Marsh is a National Audubon Society designated Important Bird Area. A boardwalk trail takes you to upper and lower platforms where you can observe 240 bird species, among them, wood ducks, bald eagles, peregrine falcons, and great blue herons, as well as painted turtles and beaver.
