Large Animal Research Station studies reindeer, caribou, and musk oxen to better aid in resource management. Visitors can safely observe animals from the parking lot anytime of the year and there are guided tours June through August. Contact LARS for hours and days. There is a small fee and binoculars are recommended for viewing from the visitor display area.
