The Dyke Marsh Wildlife Preserve consists of 485 acres of tidal marsh, floodplain and swamp forest which creates an ideal habitat for beaver, muskrat leopard frogs, painted turtles and more. Almost 300 species of birds can be seen here, making this one of the top birdwatching spots in D.C.
