The Fairview Curve Overlook provides a beautiful perspective onto the glacier-carved Kawuneeche Valley and Never Summer Mountains. The word Kawuneeche means “valley of the coyote” in Arapaho, but coyotes are usually heard more often than seen. Do keep your eyes open for moose. In the distance to the west, you will notice a little stream, better known as the Colorado River.
