Nansan Wayside Park is popular for picnicking, fishing and boating along the banks of the Androscoggin River. Note the 170-foot steel framed Nansen Ski Jump. Built in 1936 by Scandinavians who brought their love of winter sports, it was once the largest ski jump in North America, but the jump is currently closed.
